Duties and Responsibilities
Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall management, policy direction, and quality assurance of the journal. Their duties include:

Determining the journal’s name, scientific scope, publication frequency, and accreditation when necessary.

Appointing members of the editorial board.

Defining the relationship between the publisher, editors, reviewers, and other related parties.

Respecting confidentiality concerning contributors, authors, editors, and reviewers.
-
Enforcing norms and regulations related to intellectual property rights, particularly copyright.

Reviewing and communicating journal policies to authors, editors, reviewers, and readers.
-
Developing a code of conduct for editors and reviewers.
-
Ensuring the journal is published regularly and on schedule.
-
Guaranteeing the availability of financial resources for sustainable publication.
-
Building partnerships and networks for collaboration and journal promotion.
-
Continuously improving the quality of the journal.
-
Preparing legal documentation and permits related to publication.
-
Making the final decision regarding manuscript acceptance — this decision is final and non-negotiable.
Editors
Editors are responsible for ensuring the scientific and linguistic quality of manuscripts. Their duties include:

Providing constructive comments to help authors clearly convey their ideas, through annotations on the manuscript or the journal’s discussion system.

Ensuring manuscripts follow the appropriate language standards (Indonesian Spelling System / Ejaan yang Disempurnakan or other relevant linguistic standards).

Continuously striving to improve publication quality.

Promoting objective freedom of opinion.
-
Issuing corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies when necessary.
-
Ensuring manuscripts do not contain discriminatory or sensitive content and coordinating with the Editor-in-Chief if the content is potentially controversial.

Receiving, reviewing, and responding to complaints from any party involved in the publication process.

Supporting initiatives that educate researchers about publication ethics.
-
Avoiding any personal or third-party bias that could lead to non-objective editorial decisions.
-
Encouraging authors to revise and improve their work to meet publication standards.
-
Formatting and laying out manuscripts to fit the journal’s publication template.
-
Assisting the Editor-in-Chief in finalizing manuscripts prior to printing and publication, particularly regarding language, format, and layout consistency.
Reviewers (Peer Reviewers)
Reviewers serve as independent evaluators who provide scientific assessment and constructive feedback. Their duties include:

Providing objective and unbiased written feedback on the scientific quality and contribution of the manuscript to the advancement of knowledge.

Assessing whether the manuscript is clear, complete, relevant, and consistent with the journal’s scope.

Refraining from personal criticism or inappropriate comments.

Maintaining manuscript confidentiality by not discussing it with unrelated parties or disclosing its contents.
Authors
Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their work. Their duties include:

Ensuring that all listed authors meet authorship criteria.

Taking collective responsibility for the work and content of the article, including methods, analyses, calculations, and details.

Declaring all sources of support or funding, whether direct or indirect.
-
Clearly stating the limitations of their research.
-
Responding professionally and promptly to reviewers’ and editors’ comments.

Avoiding unnecessary or irrelevant discussions with editors unrelated to manuscript improvement.
-
Declaring that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another publisher.

Submitting manuscripts in accordance with the author guidelines.
Website Administrator
The Website Administrator is responsible for the technical management of the journal’s website. Their duties include:

Setting up and maintaining the journal’s online platform.
-
Configuring system options and managing user accounts.
-
Registering editors, reviewers, and authors.
-
Managing the journal’s features and functionalities.
-
Monitoring and generating statistical reports.
-
Uploading and publishing accepted manuscripts online.
